Arm balances.. they can be the most challenging, yet most satisfying and exhilarating postures once you "get" them. In arm balancing, the hands become the foundation. Strong arms and shoulders are key, as we lift off from the core and soar like a bird with ease and grace. But because arm balances are "balancing" postures, physical strength is not the only, or most important thing! But rather an awareness of how your bodies move through space with a calm and focused mind. In this 2 hour workshop, expect to work on things like crow, side crow, peacock, and koundinyasana. If skill level permits, we may "gravity surf" from one arm balance to another. This workshop focuses on technique and practice, so it is mostly asana. Expect to gain confidence and have loads of fun in the process! Cost is 25e. The class is in-person with online option. I will give personalized tips however you choose to “join” .
